Bosnia

Bosnia is a beautiful European country of approximately 4 million people with roughly 500 - 700 Christ followers.  Bosnians of St. Louis, home to more Bosnians anywhere in the world outside of Bosnia, are a wonderful people who primarily migrated here following the civil war in the 1990s. There are four different people groups that came to St. Louis following the war with the majority group being the Bosniak Muslim.

Sources vary but it is estimated that there are between 60-70 thousand Bosnians in St. Louis. Beginning in 2017, two exploratory trips a year will be taken to not only work in the country capital of Bosnia but also to further explore our work there. Both here and there, our agencies recognize Bosniaks to be an unengaged and unreached people group.  If you want to know more about how you and your church can get involved please contact our office.

Mumbai, India

The International Mission Board lists the 20+ million person city of Mumbai as one of the five key global cities in the world with the others being London, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur and Shanghai.

Mumbai, "Gateway to India" is a city of massive energy whose people are working and living in every major country throughout the world. It's a city of technology tycoons and chic hotels as well as shanty towns and beggars throughout the city. While there is an established church presence, the vast majority of people have never heard the Gospel.

There is an excited work in which some St. Louis churches are currently involved with both the IMB as well as local on-the-ground leadership. If you want to know more about how your church can get involved, please contact our office.
